• Take-profitTrades have a defined profit target instead of relying only on discretionary exits.
• Trailing stopThe stop follows price once a trade moves into profit. Validate it on real ticks: trailing logic is where low-quality test data flatters results most.
• News filterEntries are paused around scheduled high-impact releases, when spreads and slippage spike.
• Magic numberEach position is tagged, so the EA manages only its own trades and your journal can tell algos apart.
