- Stop-lossEvery trade has a defined exit if price moves against it. VERUM treats a missing stop-loss as a hard fail.
- Take-profitTrades have a defined profit target instead of relying only on discretionary exits.
- Risk-% position sizingLot size is calculated from a percentage of equity, so risk scales with the account instead of staying fixed.
- Equity guardA hard account-level limit stops trading when equity falls past a threshold, the same idea as Vidette.
- Magic numberEach position is tagged, so the EA manages only its own trades and your journal can tell algos apart.
- Lot normalisationLot sizes are rounded to the broker's minimum, maximum and step, which avoids rejected orders.
- Order result checksThe EA reads the trade server's return code and handles rejects and requotes instead of assuming every order filled.
